This card is another one in a series of cards by Renae Roberts, one of my dear scrapbooking buddies. She has been published in Papercrafts magazine several times now, currently in the Jan/Feb 2013 issue (on page 18) if you want to see more of her work.

We both love the Amy Tangerine Sketchbook line.  I love the bright colors and modern designs in the paper.  The patterned paper in this card was made entirely from that line in the 6x6 format. She says that she used the outside of letter stickers to scribble the "hi" sentiment.

Thanks again, Renae, for sharing your cards with us!!

Here is another beauty from my good friend Renae. Almost all the elements of this card are from the My Mind's Eye Sweetest Thing collection. I love the way the flower stamp is the same as the design on the paper. Renae did a good job masking the stamp design so the 2 different stamps (flower and stripes) work perfectly with each other and fit together correctly.

The paper is from the MME Tangerine Sweetest Thing 6x6 paper pad. The sticker is from the Sweetest Thing label stickers and stamps come from the Hello Sweetest Thing set.

This lovely card was made by one of my best friends, Renae Roberts, or Nae. When I first coaxed her into trying scrapbooking she told me she was "not creative". As you can see she was way wrong. Once she got into this creative outlet she blossomed and now tries things I would never think of. Unfortunately we now live in different states but we can still scrapbook together like we did last night via Skype. It was so nice to hear her voice and to talk with someone who is as passionate about scrapbooking as I am!

You will be seeing more projects from Renae as this blog progresses. She has willingly volunteered to share her current creations with me to share with you. One of her cards is in the current (Jan/Feb) issue of Papercrafts magazine on page 18. Good job, Renae!!!

For this card, Renae used paper from the American Crafts Amy Tangerine 6x6 Sketchbook paper pad. She handcut the letters to make the sentiment.

Here are two cards I made this week using the Mojo Monday card sketch for this week. I know I've said this before but it sure helps having a good blueprint to start with to boost my creativity.

The card on the left ("you and me") I made for a friend using the Studio Calico Darling Dear line. The "you and me" square us from the Darling Dear "Temple" paper. The camera washi tape came in this months Studio Calico scrapbook kit, I think it's from Studio Calico. The letter stickers are from Basic Grey.

I made the other card, on the right ("here missing you"), for a co-worker friend who has been off for awhile. Wanted to show her that we miss her at work. I really like how the red and grey colors and patterns look together. This card was also made entirely from my Studio Calico scrapbook kit for January except for the chevron gray washi tape which is from my stash and is from the My Minds Eye Indie Chic line. The chipboard is from Studio Calico.
